Thames Pathway Walk

Londoners walk for Macmillan Cancer Support

I am encouraging everyone to take up the Macmillan Cancer Support challenge to take part in the Thames Pathway Walk on Sunday 20 May.

You can enjoy London’s fantastic riverside, starting from either Putney or Woolwich with the option of stopping after five miles or continuing to ten. Taking in the world famous Thames Barrier, historic maritime Greenwich, the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye you will appreciate London at its best and raise funds for a very good cause.

Macmillan has a series of Walk Wonders events going on throughout the UK in May, which are fantastic events for people to come together to raise awareness and money for Macmillan services in the London. Anyone can get involved – local schools, clubs, and firms can all sign up to make a real difference to local people affected by cancer.

To register to take part and receive a fundraising pack call 0845 602 1490 or log on to: www.macmillan.org.uk/walk
